Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the city of Kharkiv has been under constant shelling. To ensure children can continue their education in a safe environment, the city has built underground bunker schools accommodating up to 1,500 pupils, while several metro stations have also been adapted to allow children to attend classes there.
